Links of Interest

I've checked, reviewed & updated the links available via theLinks of Interest  button, to be found under the TR blog title picture.

There are many informative and interesting web sites which are related to the railways, industry, places, features and people of the North East of England.   I am collating links to dozens of these on this single web page, using simple classification and lists, because anything else would be even longer and take an age to load.   This leaves you to look, click & try.

Examples are RSH in Grace's GuideNE River Bridges,  Tyne Built Ships,& North East with Kids blog   There are several excellent sites published by very active local groups.   I am trying to cover history, and encourage people, especially visitors, to look positively at the North East.   Interaction with these sites may also encourage their writers to continue.

Please let me know what you think, especially of anything interesting which you find.   More sites are popping up and others occasionally disappear.   If a link is faulty or you know other interesting sites, please email details to me.
