Vic in Action

Celebrating his 80th, Vic works on the Causey job .....

Removing scrap timber .....

..... then changing to a smaller bucket .....

..... to dig out the footpath crossing and replace timbers

At the end of the day, the replacement timbers are in position, with a temporary footpath crossing.   Next will be new chairs, keys, gauging and alignment, plus the footpath crossing to be rebuilt - tomorrow's work, weather permitting.   Then there's the drainage to sort out, etc ......
