Tomorrow's Trains

Twizell will haul trains from Andrews House for Sunniside, Causey & return at 11 am, 12.30, 2 and 3.30 pm.    There will be no passenger trains beyond Causey due to track relaying on East Tanfield bank.

Tomorrow's Trains

Twizell will haul 'Winter Warmers' tomorrow, Boxing Day.   Trains will leave Andrews House for Sunniside, Causey & return at 11 am, 12.30, 2 and 3.30 pm.    There will be no passenger trains beyond Causey due to track relaying on East Tanfield bank.

Note that trains start at our main site at  Marley Hill  NE16 5ET - please arrive 20 to 30 minutes before departure, and dress for a winter outdoor event.   Email queries to santa@tanfield-railway.co.uk.

At the instigation of the Tuesday & Wednesday workers, there will be a meeting at 7.30 pm next Monday 16 December in the Goose on Percy Street, Newcastle (near Haymarket & Eldon Square).


There may be special appearances of our star of the screen, Bob, works convenor Geoff, ace banksman Nigel, Scots Bill, local lad Ken, captain Steve, Plymouth Dave, Tyne Tess Dave, and more ..... all TR volunteers are invited.
