Trains This Weekend

Tomorrow is the second Saturday of the school summer holidays.   Sir Cecil A. Cochrane, built over 70 years ago in Newcastle by Robert Stephenson & Hawthorns for Redheugh gasworks, will haul passenger trains from Andrews House to Sunniside at 10.30 am, & thereafter from East Tanfield at 11.25 am, 12.55 pm, & 2.15 pm to Causey Arch, Andrews House, Sunniside & return.   The last passenger train leaves East Tanfield at 3.35 pm for Andrews House only.

On Sunday, Twizell, built in Victorian Newcastle by Robert Stephenson & Co., will haul passenger trains from Andrews House to Sunniside at 10.30 am, & thereafter from East Tanfield at 11.25 am, 12.55 pm, 2.15 pm & 3.35 pm to Causey Arch, Andrews House, Sunniside & return.   The last passenger train leaves East Tanfield at 4.55 pm for Andrews House only.
