Is that the Westoe generator van in the background? What happened to its chassis?
Hi Jim
Well identified - yes it is the bodyshell of the Westoe generator van. None of the innards came with it, but the ex-hopper chassis is also at TR. So too are the OHW repair tower waggon, locos 9 & 10, and some waggons.
Derek
Thanks for clarification Derek - what is the condition of No.9? Is it restored? Where is it on the railway?
Hi again Jim
AEG No.9 is standing in Marley Hill yard, fairly complete & with a coat of paint, but unrestored.
