East Tanfield Station, mainly

A couple of final shots from yesterday, courtesy of Kyle Allsopp:
No.6 on passenger at Terrace Junction .....
..... and coal train at East Tanfield
Today, Dave is working on Horden's hand brake screw,
with more of the usual workshop jobs going on
Vic in Causey bay as we pass .....
..... with a train of materials for East Tanfield station
At East Tanfield, Steve and Ian offloading timber
Eric steadying a wall section
John and Phil help place the first wall section .....
..... then the second .....
..... which Malcolm drills .....
..... and Eric and Phil bolt together
A lunchtime hiatus .....
..... until the rest of the wall panels arrive .....
..... to be manoeuvred, drilled and bolted together
A 9 metre section going together - the gap is the doorway
from the car park
Eric and Phil follow through with bolts
The size and shape of the building becomes clearer
Another 9 metre section - the gap is the doorway
to the platform
Ian joining sections
Nearly finished for the day - another 4.5 by 9 metre
section is still to be added
Back at the shed, Steve looks pleased that the caulking
by a boilersmith from Severn Valley on No.2's
smokebox flange seems to have cured the leaks
