Trains on Bank Holiday Weekend

Twizell will haul trains from Andrews House for Sunniside and Causey at 11 am, 12.15, 1.45, 3 and 4.15 pm on Sunday and Monday.

In addition to our tea room at Andrews House, refreshments will be available from a carriage at Causey station.

There will be no passenger trains beyond Causey due to track relaying on East Tanfield bank.

At 9.30 AW No.2 will take a works train from Andrews House to Causey, and place a refreshment carriage in the bay platform there.  AW No.2 will then take up duty as Causey pilot and works train loco.   The works train will return after the last passenger service.

Forthcoming: 9 June a group of artists will visit; and on weekends this June there will be an animated family adventure as part of the Festival of the North East

Finally, some photographers have their own web sites - there is a link to a list of some of these under the blog title photo - please click the camera icon  at the top of the page.
