Similar Problem, Different Solution

Early 18th century buttressing of the face
of the north transept of Beverley Minster
The north face deviated 4' from the vertical - it was untied
from the walls, base & roof, then jacked back into position
Built on a bog, the church had earlier total & partial collapses,
& internal pillars in the north transept still lean
