Coronavirus has led to no trains, the closure of the railway sites to the public, many fewer volunteers, and those that are on site working further apart.

No Trains Tomorrow

Due to Covid-19, passenger trains have been cancelled tomorrow, and for the next two Sundays at least.   Our stations & facilities are closed.   Marley Hill site remains open to volunteers.

Tomorrow's Trains

On Sunday Sir Cecil A Cochrane, built for use at Redheugh Gasworks, will haul passenger trains from Andrews House to Sunniside at 10.30 am, & thereafter from East Tanfield at 11.25 am, 12.55 pm, & 2.15 pm to Causey Arch, Andrews House, Sunniside & return.   The last train leaves East Tanfield at 3.35 pm for Andrews House only.

On Sunday ex-Keighley Gasworks No.2 will haul passenger trains from Andrews House to Sunniside at 10.30 am, & thereafter from East Tanfield at 11.25 am, 12.55 pm, & 2.15 pm to Causey Arch, Andrews House, Sunniside & return.   The last train leaves East Tanfield at 3.35 pm for Andrews House only.
