Looking forward to Legends of Industry with former Swalwell & Derwenthaugh based locomotives visiting. A real locally powered event! And both engines in attractive maroon liveries!
What are "panlock" keys? Google says "do you mean 'padlock' keys?
Panlocks are double ended steel keys to hold bullhead rail in chairs. They tend not to work their way out. There are 3 lying to the left of the photo.
