More Trackwork

Some timbers in turnouts at East Tanfield are being replaced.   The turnout with most timbers to change was started this afternoon.

Last closure rail being lifted out by Marc and John .....

..... then lift out the life-expired timbers .....

..... which are replaced .....

..... and the closure rails put back in position

We still need to align, gauge and fasten down the iron work, then do similar at other points.
