Covid Recovery Fund
Tanfield Railway are thrilled to announce that the award of a further £65,400 of funding thanks to the UK Government's Culture Recovery Fund.
This funding is essential to our recovery and reopening to the public following the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, ensuring we can continue to preserve & present the world's oldest railway.
We have now been awarded a total of £310,900 (£245,500 in 2020 & £65,400 today) from the Culture Recovery Fund.
