Is any of the cash you have been awarded going to be used for loco and rolling stock restoration? I am disgusted to see cash being wasted on fencing, tarmac and a glorified garden shed. The area above Marley Hill shed now looks like its going to be used to hold livestock? That cash should have gone elsewhere instead of being wasted on pointless projects.

Thank you for your comments & questions, showing that you share our restoration aims. CRF (Covid Recovery Fund) monies had to be used for business resilience, so could not be used for restoration work in its own right. CRF funds also had a very short delivery time frame, to enforce preparation by businesses to recover post Covid, & to ensure that cash was injected around other businesses in the process. TR continues to seek other grants & means of funding for restoration work.
