TR About 1992

We recently received a letter with some photographs from Averil Fuller of Hampshire:
The letter
Around 30 years ago I had several holidays, painting at Beamish Hall.   We visited Tanfield a number of times, inclusing admiring the viaduct from below.   I am 93 and my sight is not good now.   Whilst clearing out I came upon the enclosed, & thought they might be useful to you.
No.2 outside MH shed - note wicket door & Stagshaw parked outside
Joshua's boiler
This line up includes .....
.... Joshua's frames (the jib's on MH platform) .....
..... the block lifting tongs on their bogie from South Shields pier .....
..... the flywheel (which destroyed the bogie) .....
..... for the National single cylinder diesel engine from Crawleyside
The 1880s NER carriages from Scarborough
Note the roof trusses for the 5 road shed - there was only one shed at this time
