Historic England maintains records of listed buildings and scheduled monuments.  You may find it interesting to read about Causey Arch:
Listing - http://list.historicengland.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1240816
Scheduling- http://list.historicengland.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1002364

We have other scheduled ancient monuments nearby (as well as those who may be found at TR), for example at Bobgins - http://list.historicengland.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1018225
and the culvert under Causey embankment - http://list.historicengland.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1260837
although the near 300 year old embankment itself is neither scheduled nor listed.
Please note that the stated derivation of the name Bobgins may be incorrect.

Safety First #1

I recently acquired a pre WWW I booklet entitled The "Safety" Movement, a GWR publication which was reprinted & presented to employees by the NER to encourage staff to ask themselves Is it safe? as they went about their duties.   While the photographs & methods may be dated, the messages remain relevant.
