Olden Days

As yet unadorned RSH No.21 outside MH shed in July 1974.
Note lack of track into the yard, holey shed roof, no windows.
Unloading refurbished ex-Seaham black waggons with a Parnaby crane at MH in May 1988.
Note no MH pit, lack of greenery, Tommy's second emporium, palings, carriages with window boards.
The I beams behind the crane later may have refurbished Nostell turntable.
Tommy's third emporium taking shape at AH c1990, already with pot stove & coal scuttle.
Note skylights & no back door.   Originally the bolt store at Low Fell sleeper yard.
Cochrane running south alongside A6076 Burdon Plain c1990, from an unusual vantage point.
At this time Cochrane would have had its original 1948 lower pressure RSH boiler.
