Darlington Locomotive Works
Darlington Hopetown works is usually open to the public on the 3rd Saturday of each month. Today the works contained a loco built by BR of NER design, and a new build basically to LNER design.

Tomorrow's Trains
Tomorrow, Sunday, is the last day before North Pole Express season of the ordinary winter timetable. Ex Keighley gasworks No.2 will haul passenger trains from Andrews House at 10.30 am, & thereafter from East Tanfield at 11.25 am, 12.45 pm & 2.15 pm for Sunniside & return. The last passenger train leaves East Tanfield at 3.35 pm for Andrews House only.
