No.13 point is within the Sunniside - Andrews House token section under the control of Marley Hill signal box.   The crossing timbers under the blades are to be replaced.

Tomorrow, ex Redheugh gasworks Sir Cecil A Cochrane will haul a mixed train, while ex Reyrolle No.2 will haul a two carriage passenger train a la North Sunderland Railway; ie there are two trains carrying passengers.

Tomorrow's Trains

Tomorrow, Sunday, ex Keighley gasworks No.2 will haul a mixed train of passenger carriages & goods waggons from Andrews House at 10.30 am, & thereafter from East Tanfield at 11.25 am, 12.55 pm & 2.15 pm for Sunniside & return.   The last train leaves East Tanfield at 3.35 pm for Andrews House only.

Van bodies from chassis donors for our carriages were placed alongside Marley Hill loop 30+ years ago, for temporary storage.   They are being emptied & moved to enable surveying for a new shed.

I received an email from the NRM today, in which they are appealing for transcribers tomorrow, Tuesday 5 February 2019.   The focus of the transcription is accident records & injuries to railway workers.

Tomorrow, Sunday, 49 will be hauling a mixed (passenger & goods) train leaving Andrews House for Sunniside at 10.30 am, noon, 1.30 & 3 pm.   It leaves East Tanfield for Andrews House at 11.24 am, 12.54 pm, 2.24 pm & 3.54 pm.
