On the North Sunderland Railway, 'The Lady Armstrong' was a loco of the same batch built by Armstrong Whitworth as our ex Reyrolle No,2.   The loco was scrapped at Darlington in 1951 as BR wound up & closed the NSR.   The photos below were taken at Seahouses about 70 years ago.

In the final photo at Seahouses above, behind The Lady Armstrong is NSR No.2, an ex GER 6 wheel 6 compartment carriage which passed through Watts Hardy to the SSM&WCR, then half of the body to an allotment at Boldon Colliery, and finally about 40 years ago to Marley Hill where it subsequently fell to bits, some of which are still on site.

There is more information about the event on the main TR web, including a link to more about the North Sunderland Railway.
