Superb choice! Childhood memories flooding back - including those of my first footplate ride from Bakers Bnk Head to East Tanfield and back to Bowes Bridge on 'N10' 69109 in 1959. (And once more on 'J94' 68053 in 1962. Good to see the Tanfield Branch recognised for what it was: part of the N.E.R. / L.N.E.R. & B.R North Eastern Region system. Well done- again!
